This was my main deck after Ice Age hit. During this time this was a killer deck winning some local tournaments. I played till the end of Ice Age and then quit Magic for awhile. I still play this deck against my friends from time to time and it is still strong.
Main combo is
Land Equilibrium
,
Rukh Egg
, and Jokulhaups.
I was usually able to get
Land Equilibrium
out on turn 2 sometimes due to Sol Ring, other times was looking at average turn 5. At that point I do not put any more land out until i need to to cast
Rukh Egg
and Jokulhaups.
Control the board with counters. Use Psionic Blast,
Fireball
, and Lightning Bolt are mostly there to deal with creatures then to damage your opponent.
I believe at the time I was playing Fork was restricted to only 1 per deck.
With all the new cards that are out I am now asking for help making this a great deck again. The combo will only work with Legacy and Vintage rules.
I believe that
Time Walk
and Sol Ring are the only cards that will put it as Vintage only. Would like to replace them with something when running Legacy.
Another question is, is this deck and combo even worth saving the way that Magic has changed?
