I don't remember the interactions exactly, so I'm not sure if this combo was infinite or pseudo-infinite, but I can say that I have been personally piledrived by a Bobo/Loam combo piloted by my friend who has been working on tuning a deck around Bobo. However, it seems like it takes a while to get online from what I've seen. Not sure if it's deserving of high power placement, but I would keep it in consideration and would like to hear other opinions before I can get a reading on where it deserves to be. Again, I don't know enough about the combo to say much about the interactions, and for all I know there could have been another combo piece on the board too that I can't think of. All I remember is that once he started bolting my face it felt like it wouldn't end. I'm primarily a blue player so Gruul is a color combo I am not at all familiar with. The only thing I know about RG decks is that they ramp out big mana to make big creature fast.

Generally, those decks are weak Niv decks, using an effect like Keen Sense to be able to discard a land, to Lava Spike+draw. It isn't bad as a combo, just that you need some serious ramp, and the tutors in those colors aren't good for reaching the necessary consistency to even be tier 4, I don't see how it is better than an Atogatog list. Dang atogatog... It is probably better than most every tier 4 list though, so that might be an issue with him rather than Borb.

MStranger turn 6-8 average is a couple turns too slow, and really not fast enough to race well built combo decks. On top of that, you struggle against control so all in all your mu against every archetype is mediocre.

There are some builds using Flash and Omni and Rector and Protean Hulk. And then generating tutor-lines to get to Seasons Past + Tutor + Tutor to play you whole deck. It's really cool since we get Imperial Requiter, Requiter of the Guard and Spellseeker.

the last time i remember jodah ideas bouncing ideas around it was for flash rector into hive mind and using pacts to kill everyone in upkeep. jodah only being there to reduce BB for naus. perhaps theres an efficient line for hulk since you can cast for 5 if you really need it.

Thanks for the shout out Winterblast. In regards to this list, as in most other tier lists, the power levels here have more to do with politics than provable values.
What can be claimed without evidence can be dismissed just as quickly (Hitchen's Razor) and this is in regard to pretty much all cedh "theory".

Really thinking Aminatou is misplaced. Def a 2 not a 3. Ran a TCG store and she dominated after coming out. To many easy infinite combos with her that win the game turn 3-5.

j_spencer93 If you're suggesting a placement shift from high power to competitive you should post a decklist here so people understand what you're talking about. The list should be rather tuned and optimized as well considering you're comparing it to other competitive lists in the metagame. Also saying that you played her at a game store and dominated with her means nothing since for all we know you may have played against casual decks.

Id like to nominate my Rashmi deck in place of the one listed. I feel like mine is a little more up to date, and a little less clunky.
Suggestions and constructive criticism encouraged

DangoDaikazoku after looking at j_spencer93, I doubt they understand cEDH, and after looking at all of the Aminatou lists online, Tier 3 seems about right, all are trying some difficult combo, where I think that Tier 2 is possible.
The reason is that I feel it can make a reasonably good replacement for Zur. Sure, it can't fetch Necropotence, but that is a backup plan anyway, unless you want to play Tainted Shimmer Zur instead of Doomsday Zur. As is, with a fetchland manabase, enough shuffle effects in tutors, you can abuse Aminatou as a way to turn all of your Enlightened Tutor, Mystical Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Imperial Seal, and Personal Tutors into real tutors-to-hand in effect.
This alone gives it a bit of power, and I think a pile like Gush, Altar of the Brood, Predict, Felidar Guardian, Reanimate (Top -> Bottom) could be really funny too. Obviously worse, but funny.

SynergyBuild I assumed tier 3 was appropriate regardless, but when suggesting a shift from 3 to 2 I can't help but feel as if a comment needs more sustenance than saying "she dominated after coming out" and vaguely saying that she has access to easy infinite combos to win by turn 3-5. Every commander in those colors would have access to powerful infinite combos, and it goes without saying that she's no Zur lol.
From what I understand, there are huge distinctions between tiers 2 and 3, because tier 2 starts drifting into the most powerful commanders in cEDH. I'm not saying that tier 3 isn't viable in cEDH, but in order to make a placement into tier 2, a deck has some strong contenders to compete with for that competitive grouping.

After trying out Sai, Master Thopterist So far he is can go in the high power tier. Despite the color restriction, the commander have so much utility and can combo out pretty fast if used right.

Hey love the work, but I personally would say that Hapatra should be 1.5. A great primer is here: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/toxic-relationship-hapatra-edh/. I think the main reason that it should go in is that it is a deck that can combo off to absurd degrees, and also if you run quillspike you gain 2 more infinite combos. It definately isn't tier one, but I think that it is a bit above tier 2.

mkohm5 I think tier 3, where Hapatra is listed is just right for your list. Your deck runs minimal ramp, removal, and your deck doesn't have an efficient combo, stax, control of nearly any kind, nor can compete in terms of speed compared to the meta.

How in god's name did Ishkanah, Grafwidow end up in the same tier as Kaalia of the Vast?
December 1, 2018 12:25 p.m.
Whoa I would assume that Ishkanah, Grafwidow has some powerful combo with Food Chain.

ishkana can at best get a trillion spiders with FC. theres nothing to do after that to my knowledge. FC cant dump the mana into the activated ability.

Meh, any 5 color list can be competitive, you just run goodstuff and call it a day.
