August 3, 2020 Ban and Restricted Announcement —Aug. 4, 2020
Well this was truly a surprise. Wilderness Reclamation, Growth Spiral, Teferi, Time Raveler, and Cauldron Familiar are now banned in Standard. For starters this should kill (or slow down) ramp decks, making us more able to interact effectively with the opposing board. I'm also expecting aggro to pop up due to the bans so will fine tune the deck to suit more against it, especially Winota, Joiner of Forces.
We'll see how this meta shapes up before Fall Rotation.
EDIT: In anticipation of a more creature-based meta, I have made the following changes to the board:
MAINBOARD: - 4x Agonizing Remorse + 1x Eliminate + 2x Heartless Act + 1x Questing Beast
SIDEBOARD: - 2x Necromentia - 2x Extinction Event - 2x Wilt + 1x Soul-Guide Lantern + 3x Agonizing Remorse + 2x Ritual of Soot
We'll see how these changes play out but so far out of 10 games it has been effective.

DankMagicianD Massacre Wurm was part of the initial version of the deck but with the amount of removal we have and as the format built itself up I took it out to combat the format hitters like Bant Control and Temur Reclamation. Though I do have plans to bring it back into the sideboard maybe post rotation, depending on the decks that it.

You need basic mountains! Your fabled passages can’t fetch blood crypt and stomping ground, so replace one or two copies of those with basic mountains.

VampDemigod Oh I do have a basic mountain in the deck I'm playing in arena. My dumb ass just forgot to update it. Thanks for the catch.

Absolutely awesome deck! It was an utter blast to play with. I didn't even think about the Liliana, Waker of the Dead emblem trigger causing Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger to cycle in and out of the battlefield without ever having to recast it for its escape cost. Phenomenally cool deck man!

Man oh man does this deck look sweet! I’ve been playing jund for 40 years now and I couldn’t agree more with this commander list! Good to see something other than the Hamburglar and Don Cheadle in my mid-day conscience fever dreams haha! I would make a suggestion to play a couple of Ajani Vengeant because lemme tell you, he reminds me of my bitchwife after a couple of vodka gummy bears if you know what I’m saying haha! I loved her so much, what a tragedy. Life goes on and so does my lawnmower LOL! Welp keep up the good work, tumbs up Balls!
