So I have a Song of Creation Standard Legal deck built for you to try! The paper price point is a bit STEEP, lol, so maybe this is just an MTGA deck... But I think it is pretty good. Needs some fine-tuning, but built at your request! Check it out: Rielle's Lullaby.

Thank you for the kind words! You are not going to find anything discouraging from me. I know I am not the best Magic player. Decks I build that make it to this site are lists that have undergone numerous permutations in my head and on MTGA when possible. I do that to keep from embarrassing myself! So I'll keep working on decklists and I'll keep an eye on your stuff, see where I can offer a suggestion or two here and there. I work 65+ hours/week so I go days without even looking at this site, if you send me a comment or msg don't take it the wrong way if I don't get back to you quickly, I'm probably working my ass off for Magic money!!

Ok, for your Song of Creation Std Legal deck, try Song of Creation, Teferi's Tutelage, Tormod's Crypt, Opt, Shock, Merfolk Secret Keeper, Spectral Sailor, Ugin's Congurant. Your strategy is mill. If you want you can also try throwing Song of Creation into a Simic Flash deck containing Wilderness Reclaimation also. Make sure you mark your end-step and order your triggers so that your Wilderness Reclaimation(s) proc before your Song of Creation procs, so you're going to have to do manual triggers in MTGA. This could net you HUGE gains to Flash out a bunch of creatures at the end of your turn. Make sure you keep a Negate or 2 up to prevent a reset from wrath affects. I am dog-tired right now so I'm going to bed! Try playing around with these and I will try some on the ladder tomorrow if I have time. Good luck! Make sure if you are using Song to include Tormod's Crypt. Shuts down Cat/Oven nonsense and other graveyard love. Make sure to sac it as a response to graveyard tomfoolery!

Full disclosure: As anyone looking at that screenshot will recognize it was a bot match but I did that because I wanted to get a shot at fully playing out the Arcane adaption into Sarkhan, Dragonsoul ulti and holy crap. It took me a few solid minutes to select all the rat 'dragons'. I got him down to 1hp and in that turn it murdered one rat so I was down to 129 of them. Next turn I swung out and well you can see the results. This is possibly the meanest most abusive deck I've ever played. Nice work, to say the least.

Couple suggestions from someone working on a similar deck:
I would probably pull out Discordant Piper and sub in Bastion of Remembrance for the same sacrifice fodder plus it will leach life for every creature you lose. Another cool change to think about is Necropanther or Lurrus of the Dream-Den as a way to bring your creatures back over and over again. Nice work man, keep it up!

First off, I wish there was some way for me to play this deck because it looks absolutely BANANAS. I love rats and this takes them to the max and beyond. I like the versatility but the one place I saw something that might be a big change would be swapping Village Rites in for Sign in Blood or Night's Whisper to give you the same card draw at instant speed without the life loss. Definitely worth an upvote though and good luck with it, mate!

Alas, the name is lost on me but I did enjoy the concept. The Great Henge doesn't synergize well with Hushbringer and since you're more likely to draw the latter. I am a huge fan of the Henge so I ended up sideboarding Hushie and adding 3 Alseid of Life's Bounty and another Henge. He's a 1-drop which also allows you to negate some removal of an early creature or protect one from a wipe plus he has lifelink. Cool concept and nice work!

I have to admit some bias right out of the gate because I love any deck that includes Judith, the Scourge Diva. Alongside Ajani, Jace, Ashiok, Chandra et al we have Judith. But she isn't just some ol' lady. She's a friggin scourge diva to boot! Sorry but I love her!
I didn't have the wild cards for Hero of Precinct One and a few other random cards so I made a few small changes but in doing so I decided to add Luminous Broodmoth. I started off strong dropping a Footlight Fiend turn one, turn two Cruel Celebrant, got out an early Teysa Karlov and good ol' Judy and then I dropped a Dreadhorde Butcher. Next turn I pulled Kaya's Wrath and with that opponent went from 20 to 0 before all the triggers resolved. Holy SHIT. The best part is that with LB up there added they all came right back so if for some reason it wasn't enough I still have a full board and on top of that they're all now fliers. Nice concept though man. So much more effective than I was expecting!!

As someone who is trying like hell to improve a mono-black sacrifice deck I can say that after playing this ... Wow. Its mean. The one place I see that I could maybe weasel my way past Shatter the Sky if I had enough on my board. Possibly Ugin, the Spirit Dragon? It gives you some power to reach out and punch along side a complete exile board wipe meaning that not only did you get rid of my pesky returning creatures but you negated any death effects.

Ooooooo Burglar Rat and Fiend Artisan are cards I had not considered for my mono black sac deck. I'll have to give this a try and see how I like your version! I love it when two people have the same idea and arrive at different results!

I'm a huge fan of themes but I have to say given the low mana cost of creatures Runaway Steam-Kin would absolutely supercharge how fast you're pulling creatures. The point of the deck is to build up an army of 1/1 creatures all which have other benefits and he fits that idea to the T. If you draw him early and get him out as you start dropping those other cheap 1/1 creatures he will keep building until you can pull off the counters and drop a few more creatures. Overall, its a super cool deck though!

RemoteV I had Dirge Bat in a few iterations of this and his cost always scared me off but it was also while I was still working out the mana kinks. Now that I've got a good handle on how it plays I should give it another try! Thanks for the tip!

Absolutely hilariously fun deck to play! I ended up taking the idea of dropping a bomb with draws and dumps because my early draws were all removal (Murderous Rider) and land-delving (Beanstalk Giant) so even though I had Edgewall Innkeeper in my hand from turn 1 I held him back to keep the ace up my sleeve. When I dropped him he brought that marauding cavalry along with him and it was gameover from there. So cool!

I like your spin on the anax-cleave build and I was pretty surprised how good of a vessel for Embercleave Bonecrusher Giant turned out being when I was just not drawing Anax, Hardened in the Forge. I ended up having the opportunity to effectively sacrifice Fervent Champion into a quick block then bring him back as you mentioned with Call of the Death-Dweller. Down right dirty! Thanks for sharing!

Very cool deck! It plays very well but maybe if you're looking for suggestions how about Bishop of Rebirth? Kind of spendy for a 3/4 but its a semi-Lurrus when it attacks. Could make the milling a bit more effective but I'd have to try it out and frankly I enjoy the deck as is. Nice work!

I'll admit that I was doubtful of the concept at first. I love Lurrus of the Dream-Den but using him primarily to bring back those cheap enchants seemed interesting but I wasn't sure how useful it would really be. I was wrong. So very, very, very wrong.
Bringing them back turn after turn is just plain old mean and you are right about being safe if you mana stall. I've also played with Bolas's Citadel a ton and but again I'd never thought of using it to drop an adventure card. All around a blast to play around with! Thank you for sharing!

There are a high number of legends - ever thought of including something like Huntmaster Liger, Majestic Auricorn, Cubwarden, or Vulpikeet? Mutating one of them over a legendary allows it to remove its legend status while keeping its abilities. You could even throw in Necropanther since you can play it for the mutate cost without needing the black mana.

I absolutely love the oozes and I've been wanting to build a paper Ooze deck - this deck has definitely gotten things percolating in my brain!!! I tried it both as you have it now and then I made the changes suggested by pistolpeteiii and I do think he has some really good ideas. Just the sheer number of creatures and counters are insane!!! Nice work and thanks for sharing!

Very fun deck and I've always felt like Mentor could be used very powerfully in a manner much like this! Nice work!

Holy cow! This deck is just so mean! Nice work! I'd give you a hundred +1s if I could for all the fun I had with it!

Interesting concept but I would switch out Extinction Event because once you have Lurrus of the Dream-Den or Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger out you've got 3 cards you can't use without hobbling yourself. Maybe switch it for something like Blazing Volley to wipe small creatures and/or tokens at a low cost? That way you can safely play Lurrus or Kroxa.
Regardless, it was a fun play! Nice work!
