This is a super fun modern deck. As always I start with a goofy card that I love playing. In this case we are talking about Hunted Phantasm. How best to capitalize on the phantasm's abilities, especially in a format where giving your opponent five goblins is probably not wise? So we start by removing the threat. Echoing truth and echoing decay both make for good removal. Then I discovered illness in the ranks. Hooray! A 4/6 unblockable critter for three mana and no drawback. Why stop there? Toss in trespasser's curse and blood artist for a secondary win condition.
