Main Deck Changes —July 20, 2015
I have made some big changes to both the main deck and the sideboard since the last time I posted an update.
The main deck is pretty much set now with a core of:
4x Elvish Mystic
4x Gnarlroot Trapper
4x Dwynen's Elite
4x Elvish Visionary
4x Shaman of the Pack
2x Nissa, Vastwood Seer
Flip
4x Sylvan Messenger
2x Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen
2x Woodland Bellower
4x Chord of Calling
This leaves 4 spots left for singleton creature Chord of Calling targets and removal.
I have removed Hero's Downfall from the deck and replaced it with Murderous Cut. I have found that the double black casting cost is too hard. Most of the time I am relying on my mana elves to help me cast my spells and they can't create black mana. It might turn out that in the future that I will need one in the sideboard especially for Ugin, the Spirit Dragon.
I have also cut 4x Temple of Malady for 2x Mana Confluence and 2x Windswept Heath. I can't afford to have any lands come into play tapped.
