FCU - Elves cause Bears to win with Elves & Bears! —Feb. 25, 2020
Fun Combo Update!
Have a little over 100 Elves on the field thanks to Soul of the Harvest, Wild Pair, and Elvish Promenade. However, they drop a Wrath of God next turn, casting Twilight Shepherd to keep some of their cards, casting a few.
Due to Ambush Commander
's effects, like my other creatures, all of my Forests go into my Graveyard as well. All I have left is Descendants' Path, Wild Pair, Itlimoc, Cradle of the Sun, Wirewood Lodge, Pendelhaven, Castle Garenbrig, Oran-Rief, the Vastwood, and Thousand-Year Elixir on the field. I tap a few elves (was going to save it in case of mass Regen) to get over 100 floating mana, using Seeker of Skybreak to untap my Argothian Elder to untap Itlimoc and Oran-Rief.
I play Caller of the Claw on their turn.
Create 54 2/2 green Bear tokens on the field, with Caller of the Claw being Wild Paired with Eladamri, Lord of the Leaves (didn't have many cards left in my library).
Tap Oran-Rief, the Vastwood to give everyone a +1/+1 counter. During my turn, Descendants' Path forces me to put a Forest card onto the bottom of my Library. Tapping Itlimoc for 56 mana, I play Primal Command, shuffling my graveyard into my library and then grabbing Fauna Shaman which pairs her up with Argothian Elder, playing her and using her fetch ability to grab Armorcraft Judge, playing her.
Draw 56 cards!
With Argothian Elder untapping Itlimoc after casting even more Elves, I am able to ramp up for WELL over 300 mana (I drew Elvish Promenade again). Thanks to cards like Elder Druid and Gilt-Leaf Archdruid, I made sure all of their lands and the like were tapped or were unable to be used.
Finish the game attacking with 54 203/203 Bears and a single Taunting Elf to deal 10,962 damage.
