Was out of Magic for quite sometime due to real-life activities and just barely got back. During my downtime, I was able to trade and acquire some new cards to play with...
- Out Mother of Runes, in Whispersilk Cloak - fulfills the same role (protect the manland) while also giving unconditional evasion
- Out Compulsive Research, in Day's Undoing - draw 7, recycle graveyard
- Out Planar Birth, in Cyclonic Rift - adding one more board wipe
- Out Island, in Geier Reach Sanitarium - this deck is hungry for more card draw, a second Mikokoro, Center of the Sea is very welcome
- Out Plains, in Ghost Quarter - Maze of Ith effectively shuts the strategy down, removing problematic lands is needed
- Out Oblivion Ring, in Capsize - ob ring gets removed too easily, in goes capsize to bounce off ANY permanent we might have trouble dealing with (the buyback and synergy with Noyan Dar is just icing on the cake)
- Out Negate, in Swan Song - swan song hits all relevant threats that can be hit with Negate at 1 mana less
- Out Memory Lapse, in Forbid - memory lapse just wasn't doing enough, slowing down a huge spell by 1 turn isn't as helpful as Delay. A counterspell with buyback is nice, considering we almost always have 2 cards to pitch for buyback with all the card draw in the deck
