Speculative deck to take on a meta where every deck seems to have every permanent type and at least some form of recursion from the graveyard, making spot removal ineffective. As a result, I think Farewell will become the ultimate board reset. Duress serves as its counterpart on the other end of the curve, getting rid of efficient enchantments such as Fable of the Mirror-Breaker   and Wedding Announcement   before they hit the board. Runic Shot and Rona's Vortex help with early game removal, especially with what I think will be a good number of tempo decks running around the format as they attempt to undermine the slow but steady midrange decks. The remainder of the deck is mostly support cards and, of course, Planeswalkers. These are the only permanents that Farewell won't actually hit, making a superfriends heavy deck often a onesided board-wipe with our 6-mana sweeper.

Syngergies:

• as mentioned, Farewell does not hit any Planeswalkers, but Rona's Vortex does

• the only noncreature enchantment in the deck is The Meathook Massacre, so Farewell won't impact your deck

• Teferi, Who Slows the Sunset can untap The Celestus while also tapping down your ops creatures and allowing you to kill them with Runic Shot or The Wandering Emperor
