Yes I know he's an ape but this had a better ring to it.

My goal is to build a thematic deck around Gruun. The only other creatures must be forest dwelling and non-communicating species. The idea is that Gruun is the only one in his realm with a high intelligence and while he loves his home he longs for more meaningful interaction (much like king kong).

This would explain the whole "lonley king" thing he's dealing with. He's smart enough however to be able to rudimentaly communicate with the animals of his kingdom. A kingdom he will protect against all would be usurpers.

Anyway... the goal of the deck is to one shot opponents whenever we can with our Prime Ape. Hopefully the rest of the table will fight amongst themselves leaving the king to oversee things... because come on... its a theme deck!
