After intensive playtesting, -2 Vizkopa Guildmage and bringing High Priest of Penance and Tithe Drinker back to 4. Instant win combo is nice, but with the numbers I'm running it's too improbable and honestly rather lame. Seems like it would fit better in a Control deck W/B/U to stall them to pull it off. Any feedback on this would be helpful.

I think this deck looks really competitive, it's the kind of direction I would like to go with my own deck... I like you're solutions for AEtherling , that card has been the bane of my deck, so difficult to remove from the field.. wish I could give more advice but not a whole lot to say... Riot Control with Vizkopa Guildmage can sometimes lead to an unexpected win or a massive swing in the game against decks that swarm the field... just in case you've not tried that before

Didn't think about that synergy, good catch! Speed is what is killing me in playtesting. I'm thinking of trying to try a few Typhoid Rats but not sure what to take out.

I find High Priest of Penance is my counter for fast decks, playing it on turn two will tend to slow down the opponent as they don't want to risk losing their expensive creatures or spells even if they don't attack with them... I like Typhoid Rats but the freedom of what you kill with high priest is more useful in my opinion... if you can stall the game till turn four your opponent should be on the back foot from then ideally

I'll have to try both, unfortunately i dont have any of the High Priest of Penance . but ill copy this deck and replace it with the priest and see how it goes. I was trying to experiment with 1 drops because other than tragic slip i don't have anything to play turn 1. But then again, High Priest of Penance will go very well with Immortal Servitude for x=2 when that gets sideboarded in.

I just find that nothing brilliant is ever played on turn one that you'll want to go to the effort of removing with a tragic slip, so i don't tend to worry about the first turn drops unless they are Elixir of Immortality or similar side deck cards. I have used the Immortal Servitude to bring back the vast majority of my deck before and it's very satisfying, also I said this on my deck thread but will repeat it here... would Tragic Slip set off High Priest of Penance ? if so that creates some very nice synergy letting you hit cards when your opponent is circumventing your monsters... not sure if that works or not though as its a -1/-1 as opposed to 1 damage... anyway as you said easiest way to find out what works is just to test it and see how it goes

Wincons: Debt to the Deathless - Easy to hit big with Crypt Ghast , and may even transform Blood Baron of Vizkopa . Pontiff of Blight giving everybody extort. Cheap removal spells that can be extorted easily. And not to mention the ultra-lame Vizkopa Guildmage and Exquisite Blood loop which is easily achieved with Vampire Nighthawk Tithe Drinker Sorin, Lord of Innistrad vampire tokens, and extort.
Sideboard:Blind Obedience for aggro decks.Elixir of Immortality mill decks.Immortal Servitude and Sin Collector for those annoying boardwipe cards.Faith's Shield for burn decks.Mutilate if I need a board wipe.
