Because this deck is white and blue, its purpose is to delay and hinder its opponents while it builds its own forces.

As with all my two-colored decks, it contains the appropriate liege and demigod aura (Thistledown Liege and Steel of the Godhead, in this case), and it also had 70 cards, before I reduced it to 60 cards. Among the cards that I removed were Windborn Muse, Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir, and Loxodon Gatekeeper, which contributed to the theme of control and delaying, but made the deck feel like a jumbled mess with no central direction, so I have made it more streamlined, now. I dearly wish that I was able to put either Ascended Lawmage or Hussar Patrol in this deck, but there was no room for them, and both Sky Spirit and Wall of Denial are simply too awesome to not put into any deck that can support their colors.

This deck has fewer creatures than do most of my decks, as it focuses heavily on instants, but it still certainly has some creatures, most notably Grand Arbiter Augustin IV, who helps the player while simultaneously hindering the player's opponents. I also have Geist of Saint Traft in this deck, because he is a most excellent creature, indeed.
