This deck is an easy way to get into Modern. There a plenty of different builds for the deck too. I know a lot of people add Surrak, Kalonian Tuskers, Garruk's Companions, Prey Upons, Tree-top Villages and Collected Companies. I think Collected Company is too slow, and I think that Dungrove Elder is better than various 2-drops because it gets huge and can't be killed. Elder can win games by itself. As for Tree-Top village, I don't ever want a tapped land or a land that doesn't get Elder bigger. My version isn't necessarily the best version, but I know it works and I know it is fun.

The sideboard is pretty metagame and budget dependent, but there are plenty of good options other than the ones I have currently (mine is pretty outdated).
