Excuse the seemingly dumb question, but I just want to confirm that with Yedora, Grave Gardener, when Bull Elephant ETBs I can return two Yedora-flipped creature/Forests back to my hand, allowing me to cast those creatures again, correct? Thanks in advance! :)

Yes, because its trigger does not target. If it did return "two target Forests," you'd have to select your targets when it came into play and you couldn't change them after that.

As worded, however, you pick two Forests when the trigger resolves, so if you've made your Bull Elephant a Forest by then you can return it just fine.

Let’s say I have Yedora, Grave Gardener and a free sac outlet such as Spawning Pit, would I be able to play Bull Elephant in response to its trigger sacrifice it then return the forest it becomes as the trigger resolves.

Mathmagician Thanks! I can see your point about Bull Elephant , I really wish it was 5/5 to trade with Gurmag as well. I guess I saw it as a way to place down more forests for Battlewand Oak , but it's definitely underwhelming.

And as far as landfall options, there aren't too many other options in green outside of Battlewand Oak which is the same as landfall for my deck. It's also triggered by another Battlewand or Tilling Treefolk entering. I could see maybe something like Grazing Gladehart for SB against burn or something.

Any suggestions to replace the elephant?

I would just trade Bull Elephant for Metallic Mimic. I know he doesn't have an elephant in the image, but he is still one due to being a shapeshifter and is just a better card than Bull Elephant, which is not worth putting in the deck even for flavor, imo. Other than that, nice deck dude. +1

No, but for real though, the only good elephants in the game are Terastodon, Loxodon Hierarch, and Loxodon Smiter. We need a legendary elephant...
