Rogue Elephant
Creature — Elephant
When Rogue Elephant enters the battlefield, sacrifice it unless you sacrifice a Forest.

Balaam__ They're worth a test run. My main concerns with them are 1. They enter tapped, slowing down the aggro and 2. They're not Swamps for Snuff Out or Forests for Rogue Elephant. The first concern is mitigated by the double mana, and the second might be less of a problem than I think. Maybe 1-2 of each; I don't want to go all in on them.

Random suggestions: Rogue Elephant can put a land in the yard. Grapple with the Past could help fill the yard and at the same time retrieve creatures you want/need. Just in case lightning bolt isn't enough there's also Ground Assault and Searing Blaze. Also Groundswell could be cool.

Hi! I really love the deck I think it’s a super cool take on stompy and it seems like it can hold its own pretty well in conpetetive matches. I don’t know how important shroud is to you, since green has so many removal spells that have to target your own creatures first, but Rogue Elephant might be something worth considering in place of Scythe Tiger since it interacts with Elephant Guide and Epic Confrontation. If not, I still love scythe tiger. Keep up the good work!

I would highly recommend Scythe Tiger over Rogue Elephant.

Land sacrifice for a positive gain like: Raze, Fault Riders, Rogue Elephant, Falling Timber and Orcish Lumberjack

@TheRedKnight yeah, Elephants prefer to stick close to the ground it seems instead of bouncing every-which-way. I was thinking about throwing in one of my copies of Crucible of Worlds i haven't been using but it only really allows me to continuously Horizon Canopy and regain tempo from like Rogue Elephant I tend to get alot if not most of my lands out anyways despite that and draw 2 to 3 cards a turn so I'm not too worried and feel it would just be a dead card. Heroic Intervention has been doing pretty solid work as well. But more effects like that would be nice for consistency sake.

I actually like the 3/3 but only in Legacy where I could build a really shitty, janky, old-school Mono-Green Stompy deck with Rogue Elephants, Mtenda Lion, Jungle Lion, Invigorate, Berserk, and so on.
Just play 9 lands, Land Grant, and Elvish Spirit Guide to dump my entire hand on the table turn 1 and start smacking things. Giving your opponent extra lands isn't really going to matter if you go Invigorate -> Berserk -> Berserk on your 3/3!

Rogue Elephant is good budget scavenge as well. It can put itself in the graveyard too.
