Is there any reason you're not running Notion Thief ? Sure, it kinda defeats the purpose of Nekusar, but being able to draw 20-30 cards while casting Monomania on everyone else is pretty good still... :D

Hi!
I see you run Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, is there a reason you don't have Cabal Coffers to combo it with? It would certainly help with both Exsanguinate and Torment of Hailfire. Perhaps as a way to help tutor up those pieces, you could switch Dark Petitionfor an Increasing Ambition, as all the extra mana you get will help pay for the flashback cost? Or completely replace the card with a Demonic Tutor? Or perhaps do both! Tutors are amazing.
You also seem to have a lot of self-discard (if that's a word?), but few things that actually syngergize with self discarding. So maybe switch out some of the red discard-draw for more powerful blue draw spells? Monomania is also a great discard card that doesn't punish yourself, especially if you can help it. Though of course, I suppose you could always recast them with Kess, but one would think that it's better to keep cards in your hand for as long as you can, for extra value, rather than just discarding them? . I personally still think you have a disproportionate amount of discard compared to anything else, though.
Also, seeing as you have no way to combo with it (as far as I can see), Labratory Maniac seems like a decent cut.
Just my two cents, will be fun to see how the deck shapes up :)

Is discarding good in multiplayer formats or is something you should avoid. Is it ok of its mass discard like Monomania how about group discard effects. The reason I'm looking for help with this is becuse my friend cousin is dead set on Blightning in his edgar deck and its helped him a few times but I keep telling him that it's bad in the format. I know you can make a discard deck in the format but I haven't found a list I like yet

Mike94: Hmmmm. Myojin of Night's Reach is neat but pretty costly to cast. My concern is that by the time I cast it (mid to late game), my opponents won't have many cards in hand so it might not be worth the mana investment. I'll think on it but I'm not rushing to add it.
Kyln: No argument about Ensnaring Bridge, it's perfect. The only reason I didn't include it from the start was budget concerns. But I splurged and picked one up... a week before it was revealed as a reprint in Masters 25 :p
notorioez: I've tried to cut down on the single-player-target spells in this deck and for the cost of Monomania, I'd probably rather something that makes them discard their whole hand. Like maybe Mind Twist... which I just recently took out.
IAmTheWraith you definitely grabbed my attention with Liliana, Heretical Healer Flip as a commander. I was thinking about her for at least a month after your suggestion and even printed out as proxy of her to test as a commander. Then I realized her trigger to transform is based on another nontoken creature I control dying (not her dying), which is a bit more limiting when I only have 12 other creatures in the deck. In the end, I'm gonna pass on her as a general.
I hear you EternalBrewmaster. One with Nothing is super cool and I've used it in Dredge decks to great effect ;) But here it's not really on-strategy: I want to focus on making my opponents discard and while I don't mind "everyone discards" effects, there's little benefit to only me discarding my hand.

You, my friend, look like you could use a Hollowborn Barghest and a Monomania. And while you're at it, why not throw in a Bloodchief Ascension (btw, that goes infinite with Mindcrank if that's your thing). Be careful when you look for discarders; a lot of them aren't worth the card stock they're printed on. I have a theory-crafted Crosis deck you can use as a reference.

Monomania is great in the late game when you end up against one opponent. If you play Thoughtseize, you may as well play Monomania
