Hardy Veteran

Creature — Human Warrior

As long as it's your turn, Hardy Veteran gets +0/+2.

Switch Hardy Veteran for Merfolk Branchwalker, it's a much better card. Also consider Evolving Wilds for fixing as well as to trigger revolt.

Please link cards. It makes it easier to know what you are talking about.

Hardy Veteran is really only good in Limited play. I would put Solemn Recruit back in.

The Immortal Sun is not proving to work very well. I would replace it with Angel of Sanctions or Angel of Condemnation.

I would remove both Planeswalkers and Slaughter the Strong for Ixalan's Binding.

I would try this with your Sideboard:

-2x Oketra's Monument
-1x Restoration Specialist
-3x Trueheart Duelist

+3x Cast Out
+2x Fumigate
+1x Heroic Intervention

Ah ok. That was very informative. I will definetly try this from now on. I did some small change to deck swapping Solemn Recruit for Hardy Veteran and huatli for ajani, is this a good swop or weaker? Argy thanks a bunch! Edit; fixed lands

Pulled a Trapjaw Tyrant and Zacama, Primal Calamity yesterday and went 3-2 with a R/W aggro + Zacama build. Zacama won me games I had no business winning and is quite fun to resolve.

Some other cards I was seriously impressed with after playing with, against, or watching be played:

Tendershoot Dryad - Probably the best card in limited.

Azor's Gateway - The loot effect is insane value (don't flip it!)

Admiral's Order - I think people are really underestimating this card

Buccaneer's Bravado - Pretty much is the new Temur Battle Rage in limited

Hardy Veteran - Getting the +0/+2 really messed with combat math early on in the game and forced opponents to answer the card on their turn instead of at instant speed.

Also, Ascend went off just about every game in which it was relevant. Draft is likely to be much faster than sealed, but I think ascend decks can function and perform well.
