Holy Horde

For anyone coming from the xram666 primer, it's worth noting this deck was never actually tested as a Horde magic deck. At some point I lost interest in building it out, and I have yet to build the preconstructed decks or playtest. That said, please feel free to make adjustments as you see fit.
For adding and swapping cards, theme is the primary choice. All creatures in this deck should be humans, or should be an obvious companion to humans. There is a token subtheme to the horde deck. There is also a subtheme of "non horde creatures do no damage," with cards like Divine Light and Spare from Evil. Noncreature cards make up about 1/3 of the deck.
One of the original goals of this deck was to keep it affordable, and a few cards have jumped up in price since building (to the tune of around $3-$5, so not so bad). At time of building the deck, I think it totaled about $30 or $40, and it is nearly $60 at time of writing this comment. With infinite mana and free card draw, the horde can make a lot of cards typically considered bad much better.

What about "protection from"? This seems like a viable option, especially if you're willing to go harder into Green and white. Enchantments like Circle of Protection: Green or Rune of Protection: Green are options, or things like Brave the Elements , Mother of Runes , Ward of Lights , Spectra Ward are very helpful. I'm going to start a cut leaning harder into protection/Damage prevention and see where that gets me. Looking at cards like Blinding Fog , Divine Light , Forfend , Heart of Light , or my personal favorite, Inviolability . I have done evil, evil things with Inviolability. Hold back the hordes! I'll probably work at building something over the next couple of days.

There's quite a few jank cards in this list that could be cut for more powerful options; Guardian Lions, Jedit's Dragoons, Jhovall Queen, Kemba's Legion, Lost Leonin, Stonework Puma, Wirecat, Zarichi Tiger, Dazzling Reflection, Jeweled Torque, Divine Light, Lifelink, among others, all are rather weak and have better options.
White Sun's Zenith, Oreskos Explorer, Path of Bravery, Swords to Plowshares, True Conviction, Return to Dust, Oblivion Ring, Mirror Entity, Regal Caracal, Sacred Cat, Spirit of the Hearth, and Seht's Tiger are all examples of much more powerful cards.
