For sealed ftv realms, is 98 dollars a fair price?

If my late-night math is correct, the individual pieces sum to about $150. Depends on what you want to do with it, I guess.

My LGs sells it at 70$.

Honestly, the cards themselves are pretty crap.

The only ''Big cards'' have high prices because their original counterparts are really rare...doesn't change that they still suck.

@Drathen: out of interest, why do you think that the lands "are pretty crap"?

When i think of Grove of the Burnwillows , i think of a great r/g dual. I don't think that it deserves it's price tag, that being said it is still good. You don't have to pay your life and most of the time the 1 life for each mana is a price that i would pay for.

The next "big" card is Maze of Ith which is an edh staple (and hard to come buy) and Ancient Tomb which is used in legacy / vintage / edh. The tomb is a bit more accessible.

After that, there are a lot of easy to get cards, and the only sub-par are Shivan Gorge and Desert . All of the cards besides those have a use somewhere (edh mostly...)

Vesuva tron / 12 post
Dryad Arbor maverick / Green Sun's Zenith
Boseiju, Who Shelters All rogue control deck / edh staple
Forbidden Orchard edh staple
High Market nic fit / edh staple
Windbrisk Heights tokens
Murmuring Bosk azban decks / edh staple
Cephalid Coliseum dredge / edh staple
Glacial Chasm - Crop Rotation (legacy decks) / land control deck (leg.) / edh staple

Overall, I think that FTV realms has some pretty neat cards. Sadly though, the foiling process on the FTV's suck and make the cards curl worse than any other foil.

Loads of cards in realms are good. Some legacy playable. Many edh playable.

Many of the FtV: Realms lands see a lot of Legacy play. Specifically in the Lands deck. That being said, it doesn't matter how good the cards are. The individual pieces are worth almost double what you can get for a box. It's a good investment. I recently bought one myself :)
