Don't know how to erase this post

That also wont work due to Silver Myr being summoning sick and unable to be tapped.

You could replace the five-mana Forbidden Crypt with the four-mana Immortal Coil. You would have copies of Dark Ritual in your graveyard, so would be safe from losing the game--but the second it goes to their graveyard, it would be game over.

Edit: I clearly stopped at the "one mana short" issue, and did not pay close enough attention to the combo pieces. Lost_Ascendant is correct--you will need some other method of generating blue mana to keep this going.

Lotus Petal, Simian Spirit Guide, Elvish Spirit Guide are just a few suggestions. Look at Belcher, ANT, Oops all spells for further inspiration.

I'm not sure this works, as Silver Myr would need haste to tap for mana on the first turn.

302.6. A creatures activated ability with the tap symbol or the untap symbol in its activation cost cant be activated unless the creature has been under its controllers control continuously since his or her most recent turn began. A creature cant attack unless it has been under its controllers control continuously since his or her most recent turn began. This rule is informally called the summoning sickness rule.

EDIT: ahhhhhh snipped :)

You should be able to use the tap ability without attacking regardless of summoning sickness, such as Krenko, Mob Boss I swear you could use the tap abilities and not have to attack

How could I use the Immortal Coil instead of Forbidden Crypt but still get that extra x1 Island to use the Donate

I just read this rule, does this negate the summonign sickness

  • Artifact is not a creature subtype, it is a card type.

therefor

  • This rule is informally called the summoning sickness rule. So, creatures (and only creatures) are affected by this. Non-creature artifacts are not, lands are not, other cards with tap abilities (rare, but it occurs) are not.

Funkydiscogod I ran out of black mana before I could use it for Culling the Weak

Funkydiscogod nevermind that worked haha Thanks. but how does Immortal Coil make the opponent lose the game?

February 15, 2018 12:14 p.m.

MTGPALADIN says... #14

Funkydiscogod has the formula you need to do this turn one. The ritual adds three, one is spent on casting manaforge cinder. The next is spent activating its ability to produce a red, which leaves you with one black floating.

Still say Lotus Petal is very helpful

Now this is a nut draw kind of situation, but you can use Street Wraith, Manamorphose, Gitaxian Probe to sculpt shaky hands into winning ones.

Now the question is. if i have these in my Deck

x4 Manaforge Cinder

x4 Dark Ritual

x4 Harmless Offering

x4 Dark Ritual

x4 Culling the Weak

What could help me get the win, IF I don't get this on the first pull

Oh sorry, MTGPALADIN Just saw thatAny recommendations on getting more creatures of the field for defense.

Its ok, I think you would benefit from watching a couple videos on legacy storm decks. Your kill will be different, but they ramp up to 7 and 8 mana very quickly and consistently.

Also you might want to run some graveyard removal like Tormod's Crypt or the like to ensure an opponent doesnt have any free cost cards like Gitaxian Probe in the yard that they cast in responses to your win con.
