Tamiyo, the Moon Sage and Ral Zarek are probably the most fun to use. They aren't hyper threatening, mess with whoever is winning, and their ult makes everyone at the table hate you.

My favorite planeswalker would Garruk, Primal Hunter . Not only is he a really good token maker (Doubling Season for insta-board presence) but he offers green card draw which is hard to find.

I'm with Osang on this. Karn Liberated has no color identity restrictions and is an answer to any targetable permanent. Mono-Black has trouble with artifacts and enchantments? Run Karn Liberated. Simic having trouble with indestructible creatures? Run Karn Liberated. Creatureless deck needs help killing Planeswalkers? Run Karn Liberated. Maze of Ith screwing with your voltron? Run Karn Liberated. Red's terrible? Run Karn Liberated.
Don't underestimate his + ability either. Not only can it be a huge nuisance to players being forced to pitch cards, the fact that it's +4 can make him very difficult to chew through with creatures.

Liliana Vess , Jace, the Mind Sculptor , and Tezzeret the Seeker are each my favorites. Liliana is my favorite casual tutor engine, and her ult has been known to go off from time to time. 'Ole Jace makes himself out to be one of the best advantage generators of all time. And then Tezzeret finishes out my favorites by being really good ramp and overall synergy.
Out of all of them, if I had to pick one, I'd probably pick Tezzeret. After all, I use him the most... But Liliana is a close second.

It's hard not to like Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker if we are talking about reliability. As far as pulling off the "ultimate" I am going to go with Nissa Revane . It's not the most likely thing to happen, but when it does, it's really fun.

In my Animar deck, only one planeswalker can generate massive amounts of mana i need and can substitute Nissa, Worldwaker in the Ral Zarek +The Chain Veil combo. Ladies and gents..........Xenagos, The Reveler
