Who said Lantern Control had to be Boring?

Standard* Control Cruel Control

mrand3rman

So many lantern decks these days are focused on eternal game control. This deck is designed to take into consideration the competitive nature of lantern control, but also incorporate the casual style of gigantic creature cheese. Any and all recommendations to improve upon this masterpiece is welcome.

The deck strategy as far as most lantern decks go is the same. Use the lantern and trinket mage to tutor your lantern, and then the bell, shredder, and pyxis to give your opponent dead-draws (this is the focus). While you're starving them, pay attention to when you have a big ass creature on top and be sure to pyxis that out for later once your tron lands kick in.

If you manage to draw one of the big creatures, dont worry. Use Riddlesmith to discard them and shuffle them back into your own deck - so don't worry about milling yourself out as well. The worst spot for those big creatures is in your hand, so do your best to not keep them there. 1 in your starting hand wont hurt too much, but having any more than that requires a mulligan.
