Sideboard

Updated for format rotation!!!The original Idea behind the deck was as follows: This deck is a low curve, highly aggressive Red/Blue Pirates deck with an ascend sub theme. It is mostly about pirates getting in with evasiveness (flying, unblockable) to do damage to the opponent's face. It uses Curious Obsession to add to ascend and help with card advantage, as well as a little buff to the evasive creatures on your side of the board. Similarly Pirate's Cutlass not only gives pirates a significant and efficient power boost but also gets to the city's blessing faster. the Slippery Scoundrel and Storm Fleet Swashbucklers are decent payoffs for ascending, and a couple of Timestream Navigators and Tilonalli's Summoner add a fun layer to the mad aggro of it all. With a few defensive spells like Dive Down and some counterspells Lookout's Dispersal in the sideboard, you can save your enchanted pirates from that pesky Cast Down. Competitive, fun and about as cheap a deck as you can make. Let me know what you think and how I can improve it. Since it's inception it has evolved into a low curve Izzet pirate centric Ascend deck. Most of the staple pirates are still here but I have added better ascend abilities. Fun stuff here. Don't pass it by.
