Mono Black Aggro i'm running right now, based the idea off of ElvishSpirit's mono black aggro deck. I've changed a lot since I first made this deck, it barely resembles his anymore. It's a pretty budget deck that is also pretty competitive. The only real expensive card in here is Drana, which even i've thought of replacing.
Deck seems to pretty consistently win by turn 5, i've also taken this deck very deep into games and come out winning because of dash, drain & gain, and Foul-Tongue Shriek.
First time at FNM with this deck and I went 3-2 only losing to Abzan and Dark Jeskai, which both I cam very close to winning. Got 6th overall.
Second FNM with this deck I went 3-2-1. All three games I won I swept them 2-0 and won by turn 4-5. First lose came to an Abzan deck who pumped out Rhinos faster than I could deal with them, and he swept me. Second lose came in the top 8, and he beat me with his BUG homebrew deck which was very impressive, I won the first game on turn 4 and then got him to 6 life game two and lost and then 1 life game 3 and lost. The draw came in my 5th game so that we both could automatically make it to top 8. Overall the deck did very well though. Still looking to improve it though. Got 5th overall.
Third FNM, 3-1-1. Only loss of the night was a 1-2 loss against a temur homebrew deck, just didnt have a sideboard for it. Drew on the last game so that both me and the fourth place guy could stay in the top 4. Got 3rd overall.
