The Only Life Point That Matters (Death's Shadow)

This deck is my attempt to get the fastest possible Death's Shadow kill in Modern. Turn 2 kill is possible (though probably unlikely), and 3 is achievable.

The idea is that you get your life total down to 3 or 4 and swing with Death's Shadow and Tainted Strike. The main tool for getting your life down is going to be Hex Parasite or Plunge Into Darkness. Plunge having the added benefit of digging for any piece that you might be missing. Double Cleave and Rite of Consumption can be Tainted Strike numbers 5 and 6.

Since your life total doesn't really matter, I've got a full 8 cards dedicated to cycling through your deck (Street Wraith, Gitaxian Probe), and you're probably not going to be spending much colored mana on Dismember. And the land count is low because you've got Simian Spirit Guide to ramp on your critical turn and you theoretically won't need more than two lands.

Added a sideboard. Not really built around answers, it's really intended to transition into a slower, slightly more jund-y build for when the all-or-nothing plan isn't likely to work.

Caveat: I am terrible at making sideboards.

edit: also swapped Double Cleave for Fling to mesh better with the sideboard Persecutors
