I will help! I had the same thing with my Chasm Skulker deck, someone told me it was not a good card in constructed. My deck "Kill it before it breeds" (sorry, tappedout doesn't like the name) is my response to that challenge. Feel welcome to make suggestions. For your deck, I recommend more card draw. I hav used Ordeal of Thassa and Divination to buff chasm by 8 counters in a single turn. Use Bident of Thassa instead of Dictate of Kruphix , as it is more one-sided and it will not be that hard to hit your opponent. I would include a sack engine so you can generate your army if you need it Life's Legacy does really well, plus you can use it to buff chasm with a sacrificial Boon Satyr . Lastly, a personal thing, I would take out Coral Barrier for Prognostic Sphinx ans the sphinx is a better blocker, you have an open spot in your mana curve, and scry is really useful to cycle through useless cards to draw the ones you need. Hope you beat your friend! Chasm Skulker for the win!

Thanks for the help good sir, I saw your deck the other day and that was actually my inspiration for this one. All of those suggestion are good fits but I am a little shaky on one of them. Life's Legacy while it is a great card I feel like Take is quite synergistic in a Chasm Skulker build because you keep your creatures any thoughts on that? On the other hand I don't like Prognostic Sphinx but that was just your opinion, I will definitely change my deck around to work better with your suggestions, thanks for all your help!

But Prognostic Sphinx will work for now.

Take is far more synergetic, I simply mention Life's Legacy for after rotation. Not liking Prognasy is fine, I didn't like him much at first either, until I was triggering 2 scry three's every attack phase and then drawing 3 cards. Being able to sort through my deck for whatever card I want is one of the main reasons I use him.

+1 for the Squid Horror deck.

I'm working on a similar deck, which aims to be more mid-range / stompy.

I can suggest adding in Zameck Guildmage as he makes a very nice combo with Chasm Skulker that you can sink any spare mana in to. Remove a counter from the Chasm Skulker , draw a card, put the counter back on. Its a very efficient, repeatable drawing engine.

Also Life's Legacy is more of an anti-aggro or control card that allows you to get rid of a giant skulker that is being disabled and create an army of small cretures that are harder to deal with.

I like your idea, but I think this deck is too slow and it doesn't have enough early creatures to protect you from aggro decks. I have playtested it and I usually find myself with initial hands full of non-creature cards that are dependent on having creatures on the battlefield...

First of all, this deck really needs Chasm Skulker to win. I would add a couple Chord of Calling to find it easier. I would also up the count of early creatures and ramp with Sylvan Caryatid . As it has already been suggested, Zameck Guildmage also combos with Chasm Skulker . I would cut Aqueous Form , Military Intelligence and Ordeal of Thassa for them. If you need more enchantments after that, I would go with Nylea, God of the Hunt and one Bow of Nylea .

Also, you may want to add Hornet Nest to the sideboard. It can crush aggro decks, and it would be absolutely nuts with Master Biomancer on the field.

I like this deck. I'm really starting to like Chasm Skulker and his possibilities. I echo the suggestion of Sylvan Caryatid , as besides helping with ramp, if you start with two forests and no islands, it can still produce blue for you so you can have that turn three squid. I'm intrigued to see how this goes.

Wow, Take can be really strong with Chasm Skulker . Deck looks really good, only suggestion being maybe Kiora, the Crashing Wave or Prophet of Kruphix . I've always liked being able to flash creatures in with Biomancer on the field. That aside, I like this deck. +1
