Idea of a deck I had that revolves around a few cards: Trespasser's Curse, Panharmonicon, Rampaging Ferocidon, and Dowsing Dagger. The idea is that you play Trespasser's Curse/Rampaging Ferocidon and Panharmonicon, and then play Dowsing Dagger to give them not 2 but 4 plant tokens. They enter that battlefield and your opponent not only loses 4 life, they lose 8 instead. It gets really fun if you have multiple copies of any on the field as well.
The rest of the deck is centered on controlling the field of what they play and what they have have in their hand. Cut//Ribbons, Lightning Strike(an old favorite), Sweltering Suns, and Unlicensed Disintegration are the main ways of controlling the board, with Soul-Scar Mage being a way to make big creatures get really small or be able to kill a god if you need to. Duress and Kitesail Freebooter (also good with Panharmonicon) are there to deal with noncreature threats, such as removal, planeswalkers, or other frightening things (such as some of those enchantments)
Dowsing Dagger is also a good card to have in the deck not only for the Enter the battlefield effect, but also for the flip side. It's relatively easy to kick it off (if your opponents have no fliers) with Kitesail Freebooter. There are a few mana costs that have X in the deck, such as the Ribbons part of Cut//Ribbons. Also, Torment of Hailfire is a fun one to play if you start getting mana flooded, which happens sometimes.
