Too many mini combos and synergies to list - every card works with the rest of the cards - mostly to generate or use +1/+1 counters. The main one is Triskelion and Mephidross Vampire. Infinite, instant, repeatable creature removal.
Early elves give you mana to get the big creatures out faster, and many thanks to Severijn for the suggestion of using the 2/2 elves that give you mana like
Civic Wayfinder
, rather than Farhaven Elf because with the rites of passage, they will slowly get larger each time
Thrashing Wumpus
uses his ability...instead of just dying because they are 1/1s.
Sapling of Colfenor
gains you life back that you pinged with the
Thrashing Wumpus
. He is also a win condition if you don't ping everyone to death.
Newest edition is
Sporeback Troll
, who can regenerate Triskelion or anyone else once the
Rite of Passage
is in effect.
Mephidross Vampire makes all your creatures into Vampires, which allows Triskelion to replace the counters he uses to ping creatures (infinite pings). He also doubles counters from Blade of the Bloodchief because now everyone is a Vampire.
Thrashing Wumpus
with
Rite of Passage
is a nice combo - ping every other creature down to death, while piling up +1/+1 counters on your own! Especially useful for Triskelion.
Scythe of the Wretched on Triskelion works nicely, as you can take things you kill. He's even better with a
Basilisk Collar
, killing anything with one ping. He will usually be able to kill everything infinitely when you combo him with many of the cards in here.
My question is - are the Triskelions too vulnerable? I can put Eternal Witnesses in, or put in Cauldron of Souls to assist him, which actually works great since he gets rid of his own -1/-1 counter when he comes back in...
