I ordered the deck! —Jan. 4, 2018

I have all but 2 cards for the main board. I got to play in a casual setting with it. We played a total of 7 games and I won 5 of them so it can hold its own at least in casual play which is a start. I will try to keep y’all updated as I play!

This is a really cool idea. How has it worked for you so far?

I do not actually own it in paper but I am going to probably get it since its only $64. So all I have done is run it through the playtest like 100 times and the quickest it wins is turn 5. So my answer tho I guess is I really dont know but I will write in the comments how it does in about 3 weeks after I get the deck and have time to play a few games. Just from guessing tho I believe it will have a very bad match up against control. It should demolish tokens. Ramunap Red probably also will be kinda rough but energy builds this thing can probably give a good fight against. Sorry I dont have any actual data to pull from. Thanks for checking it out!

It is a very odd but very fun. If you get a chance to test it at all id Love to hear how it goes. It is kinda hard to pilot and a lot of hidden synergies that can destroy the opponent in a single turn. The most important thing is knowing how to mulligan.

No worries. If you don't mind, I might try to make a version of this deck. I've been messing around with a mono black torment deck Mono Black Torment ~ Thoughts? and have some ideas.

I notice that Emissary of Sunrise and Seekers' Squire seem to just be in the deck for card advantage. I'm going to try and replace them with Hostage Taker or/and Treasure Map  Flip.

Also, if there is room, adding Fatal Push, Walk the Plank, or Vraska's Contempt might be an interesting addition. Once you take their creature, remove your own creature to pop their stolen one back into the battlefield therefore triggering Trespasser's Curse and Panharmonicon.

Adding blue for Hostage Taker will be interesting...don't know how to do that yet.

What do you think? :)

I did also make a UB version of this deck. Called stabbing pains if u want to check that out. To me killing your own creature seems a bit excessive when you could simply use a card such as vizier of defferdent to double bounce and then drain eight, gain 8 if u have pan and trespassers curse already out. And yeah hostage taker is a beast. That card almost made me go esper but I think three color loses consistency and takes the budget way up.

I'll definitely check out the UB version. I hope to hear how this plays over the next few weeks!

One card that works for me pretty well, although it is quite pricey at uncommon, is Kitesail Freebooter. This would be great with your playset of Panharmonicon. It would be good at protecting your creatures from opponents removal spells as it seems like you need Fairgrounds Warden to stick around in order to bounce.

I also feel like Dusk would be a great addition to either the main or the side. As all your little guys would stay alive and your opponents big guys would die. Leaving you free to continue bouncing whilst not becoming overrun.

I'll keep thinking and maybe get back to you with further ideas.

Thanks purple mage! Protecting my bouncers is not on top priority since it will just trigger it. Dusk to dawn on the other hand Would be amazing and I realllllyyyy like it especially with the second ability.

Yes the Dawn side is pretty sweet at being able to get all available creatures back to your hand for all those tasty tasty triggers when you re-summon :D.

Have you considered any ways to flicker your dowsing dagger? If you can do that I think the deck would get even better than what it is right now.

I had aviary mechanic in but I had so many 2 drops I decided to take it out but it isnt out of consideration. If you know of anything other than aviary mechanic Id definitely consider it. Thanks for the suggestion!

I don't know what it is...but something about this deck screams "add Crested Sunmare!"

December 6, 2017 1:26 p.m.

I briefly thought about it the other day but now that you mention it, it does seem to be a ultra strong finisher. I think Ill put in only two though because while it doesnt help find any piece of the combo pieces it pretty much by its self can take over the board. I believe I should remove the planeswalker and maybe an angel of sanctions. I really like the angel though. Anyway, thank you for that brilliant suggestion!

Rampaging Ferocidon could do a great work in this deck. But it deny your life gain.

December 8, 2017 10:30 a.m.

It sure could; however, I think its better in a more aggressive build of this deck.

Fun deck idea. Vizier of Deferment seems like it would be right at home in this deck. It can take a creature out of combat or flicker a Warden for extra Trespasser's triggers.

December 10, 2017 11:52 a.m.

Thanks!

I had it in but I took it out. It is still under consideration but I dont know what I would take out. What do you think?

Maybe some Emissary of Sunrise? And perhaps the Crested Sunmare. I know it works well with the Trespasser's Curse but that looks like the only reliable source of lifegain. The Emissaries just seem like they might be a bit expensive for the value you get.

December 10, 2017 9:08 p.m.

Authority also gives life gain but I dont disagree that it is kinda hit or miss. Emmisary of sunrise shuts down a decent amount of creatures while helping to scry (used loosely) for combo pieces. Vizier only becomes a bomb once the combo or at least panharmonicon is set up so I dont think we can remove stuff to help set up. I guess maybe sunmare can come out but I dont really know about that. I think Im going to leave vizier out for now but its at the top of my list for cards that should be tested. Thanks!
