Bide your time by trading attackers and blockers with your opponent your undying creatures and indestructible ooze should be able to quell the storm until you can get out some bigger threats.

Tree of Redemption is the best possible blocker we could ask for and the opponents will have a hard time getting around it. Plus along side Sheltering Word if the early damage piles up we have a saving grace!

It won't happen often but a Wolfir Silverheart paired with Vorapede is one very frightening sight.
