I just started playing MTG about 2 months ago and have now created my first deck, so I'm up for lots of suggestions! I made this deck to defend early in the game with small creatures that help ramp:Llanowar Elves, and Elvish Mystic, then attacking in the late game when I have card advantage from harmonise and Lifecrafter's Bestiary and can continue to play cards like Scion of the Wild, Oviya Pashiri, Sage Lifecrafter, and Lorescale Coatl that take advantage of my creature filled deck/card draw. Along with those cards, I put in Hornet Nest because it almost always gets value if my opponent attacks, defending some of the damage and getting at least 2 flying deathtouch wasps! Since (in the most case) my opponent needs to attack and kill me fast if they want to win, this card is usually good, since it will usually spawn the wasps on a turn soon after it is played and can stop so much damage from aggro decks. Prophet of Kruphix is an amazing card in the deck unless my opponent can counterspell or kill it with an instant or sorcery. It's pretty obvious why in a deck like mine with lots of creatures and Oviya Pashiri, Sage Lifecrafter who's second ability can be used once on my turn and once on my opponent's turn. thanks to Soulus101's suggestion, I put in 1 copy of Fists of Ironwood since it can give my power creatures trample which can really help and spawns 2 1/1 tokens. He also suggested Simic Charm which I put 4 of in because it is such a versatile card and is good in many situations. Finally, I put in harmonize, another versatile card that can give me health in case I play a deck with lots of flying or slowly deals damage to me and can find me the correct creatures at the correct time. As I said earlier, I would love to get some suggestions about the deck. I'm trying to keep the deck on a low budget which is why there isn't much of a variety of lands and are no Craterhoof Behemoths!
