this is just a deck full of mini cantrip like effects. usually caused by death.
Merciless Executioner is a fleshbag that lets your opponent make a hard choice while you can just sac a
Black Cat
or a
Sultai Emissary
to give you value.
Qarsi High Priest
also lets you sac off stuff to get some manifest tokens which can later be flipped since most of the deck is creatures. if you sac a
Sultai Emissary
with it, you get 2 manifest tokens which equals big power.
since the deck runs 12 zombies, Necromancer's Stockpile lets you cycle your hand out while giving you more tokens to either sac or do whatever you want with.
since your creatures die fast and hit the grave pretty easily, Grim Haruspex is a nice card to have, especially since if its manifested, you can morph it up for only one mana! Whip of Erebos lets you return things like Merciless Executioner or Gray Merchant of Asphodel for additional value evem when they are dead.
the really exciting card in this deck that pushes it is
Grave Strength
. this card lets you fill up your grave, while giving out counters to buff your dudes so you can swing in big and finish the game off. plus the art is a monkey so yeah.
Athreos, God of Passage and Utter End are in here because they are really solid cards especially for this deck.
