We play a Jeskai midrange deck here. We play a lot of low to the ground creatures and high tempo advantage cards. We remove most of our opponents threats with burn, exile, and counterspells, and then really hit home with our tougher creatures.

The creature package is a lot smaller than most midrange decks, because we focus so much on making our opponent stop. It starts with our one drops: Thraben Inspector one of the greatest one mana cards ever, and Figure of Destiny , a card that is good for us at all stages of the game. We move up the curve to Sprite Dragon , a card that works great with our whole control secondary plan. Ranger of Eos is our buddy that really helps with the early creatures. Dragonlord Ojutai tops off our curve and draws us a bunch of cards when we need it. The budget replacement is Dream Trawler .

The noncreatures spells are a pretty decent powerhouse. Lightning Bolt and Path to Exile are some of the very best removal cards ever printed. Great start for us already. Lightning Helix is also a wonderful addition. Mana Leak deals with problems before they become a threat. Jeskai Charm and Ojutai's Command are cards that do specific things when we need them to.

Basically, you play tour creatures fast and low, and then everything after turn 3 is either to give you card advantage or get rid of your threats. This ends when you've got a Dragon on the table and enough mana to protect it or burn your opponent out before they can do anything. Good luck, and have fun playing magic.
