My second attempt to ransack the offensively expensive Modern meta. Check out Budget Modern Meta Wrecker to see where it all began.

The deck's basic strategy is to spend early game killing any threats the opposing deck might bring out through Black Sun's Zenith and Murder type spells. Elixir of Immortality is the key here, ensuring we never run out of removal, can safely ignore life loss from Phyrexian Arena and making Smallpox a very one sided play.

Lategame our win condition is either:

a) Running our opponent out of cards through sheer tenacity

b) Using Liliana of the Dark Realms' ult to set up a massive Consume Spirit

Key Combos:

Duress + Surgical Extraction Turn 1 win condition removal against a huge variety of decks. Better hope you haven't drawn a Birthing Pod or Jeskai Ascendancy!

Smallpox + Bojuka Bog Saccing our bog allows us to redraw it later and regularly exile our opponent's graveyard thanks to Elixir of Immortality, so Delve won't help you either.

Liliana of the Dark Realms + Black Sun's Zenith or Consume Spirit Lovely Lily makes our board-wipes pretty unsurvivable, and our Consume Spirit game-ending, and all the while filters our deck for Swamps.
