A WIP Proof of concept based around quickly burning your opponent with cards that let you keep doing burn damage and very quickly shut games down.Creatures:
Basilica Screecher: Flying, and can extort for more damage. Very strong pick.
Syndicate Enforcer: Not amazing, but can extort. feel free to replace if you have a better option.
Keldon Marauders : A huge annoyance, always does at least 2 damage before leaving. can combo with Stab Wound to kill creatures in a worst case scenario.
Burning-Tree Emissary : A creatyre that literally pays for itself. use for some Extort plays.
Manaforge Cinder : A 1/1 blocker that can convert mana. Fairly solid when needed.
Instants/Sorceries:- Dash Hopes : a solid 5 burn to the face, or a black counterspell. either way, worth playing.- Lightning Bolt: It's burn. Enough said.- Dark Ritual , and Pyretic Ritual : Free Mana.
Enchantments/Curses:- Curse of the Pierced Heart : 1 burn damage per turn, forever. definitely worth it.- Trespasser's Curse : Punishes your opponent for playing the game. not super potent, but it stacks up.- Nettling Curse : Punishes opponent, potentially free burn. A bit on the expensive side, though.- Stab Wound : Free damage that also lessens blows from bigger creatures. overall super important for survivability.- Bloodshed Fever : Combos with Nettling Curse, not good for much else, though.Other options:- Manamorphose : Free cards. On the expensive side for pauper, so play at your own discresion.- Desparate Ritual : More mana fixing. not really needed due to low costs, but if you're paranoid go for it.- Tormented Soul : Free damage, but can't block. use at your own risk.- Needle Drop : Deals damage and draws cards. crucial to later plays. Still, a little on the pricey side.
