Is this deck basically just to recast Stonehorn Dignitary and Thragtusk to gain life and make opponent skip turn?

If I were you I would toss in a little more draw accel.. Ponder is nice, but it seems like this deck might get in a rut early on in the game.

I've been trying to make a venser build with green and thragtusk is a great card for it, but the dual lands I would use are hinterland harbor and glacial fortress, with blue as the primary color as its the color both dual lands share. You could try arbor elf with abundant growth attached to a forest in place of birds of paradise and avacyns pilgrim. Geist of st. Traft is another great card to run in the venser builds to capitalize on vensers -1 creatures u control are unblockable this turn. And then equip the Geist of Traft with spirit mantle to make him unstoppable. +1, hope u can make this deck work out great.

IkePrahl Yeah I was thinking about Think Twice but I don't know what to take out... and GamerTaylor yeah, Stonehorn Dignitary is an amazing card, all I have to do is play it once with a Venser, the Sojourner , Cloudshift , Deadeye Navigator , or Restoration Angel in any combination of the two and I'm a turn ahead on the combat phase skip, I can always be safe from your attack even when I drop Venser, the Sojourner s bomb. From there I can play whatever or do whatever and still be ahead on combat phase skips. I have no need to attack until I can hit for lethal with Venser, the Sojourner s -1 and be unblockable or I can aggro them out with Blade Splicer and Cloudshift ect... to hit with a bunch of golems for a turn 5/6 win.

The GG in Champion of Lambholt pretty much makes her unplayable in this deck. I'd replace her with two Borderland Ranger s asap--more relevant body at first, immediate board effect, and it thins out your deck so your draws are better.

rstnme in play testing I have never had a problem with Champion of Lambholt s GG cost. She is a really good card due to all of the ETB effects that I get. All I need to do is get a Champion of Lambholt down with a Blade Splicer or a Thragtusk and I get loads of tokens and counters on her making stuff unblockable. This is nice just incase I don't get turns ahead with Stonehorn Dignitary and Venser, the Sojourner . If I need to keep using Venser, the Sojourner s +2 on Stonehorn Dignitary I can still have unblockable creatures thanks to Champion of Lambholt It never tends to be a bad card or a dead draw, it only generally helps. Thanks for the feeback and dont forget to +1. I will do more playtesting tonight and play with Borderland Ranger instead just to see if I like it more, thanks for the suggestion.

You could use a few bombs, like a Frost Titan , Sun Titan , or Primeval Titan . With Primeval Titan (in lieu of Deadeye Navigator ) you could add in Gavony Township and make GREAT use of that in combination with Champion of Lambholt . Otherwise, this looks ok.

You need a good sidboard, especially against artifacts that could ruin your day, ala Torpor Orb .

I understand having no two drop because it's really the bigger guys that make a flicker deck shine but if you do want to put one in consider Suture Priest

aeonstoremyliver and bhrusson0 thanks for the suggestions... and btw bhrusson0 I hate Torpor Orb haha I am working on a sideboard now...aeonstoremyliver, I hadn't really though about Gavony Township because of the colorless mana it produces, I do agree that I need some bombs and I want to take out Deadeye Navigator , It just isn't as good as some other cards right now in standard. I do own a Frost Titan and a few Sun Titan s, I'll do some play testing with those in tonight and see if I like them more Thanks for the suggestions and don't forget to +1!
