Hi I am looking at other decks so I can build a similar one myself. I would recommended Mission Briefing over Flood of Recollection. Also Discovery / Dispersal works very well (ignore dispersal and use discovery as a 2 cost Preordain). Expansion / Explosion is also an extremely potent card, either copying your smaller spells or giving you a lot of draw in an opponents end step. I also do not think you need Wall of mist you have enough creatures and I think those card slots would be much more noticed as counter/draw spells

@SP3CTR3_chelts I did look at Mission Briefing, but I don't like that once I use the spell that turn, it goes into exile instead of the graveyard again. I'd like to be able to pull that card and play it with put too many repercussions. I will try it out though and see how it goes.

Discovery / Dispersal is a good card but I would have to splash in black which I don't like doing in my decks. It is just a personal preference.

Expansion / Explosion I do really want to put into the deck but it is a little expensive right now.

The walls, I am on the fence on. If I do take them out I will sideboard them just because they are useful against agro/stomp deck and give me some time to get the spell swarm running.

If you are looking at making a deck like this check out my Izzet Wizard deck. Its not the best but it has some good combos. Good luck on your deck.

for Discovery / Dispersal i did not mean splash black. literally only ever play the first part of the card no black required. I'll have a glance at your izzet wizards but i am getting rid of my izzet wizards to build izzet spellslinger.

@SP3CTR3_chelts Ok, I'll have to through it in there and try it out. Yea I moved from wizards to spell slingers too. If you finish it i'll check it out.

Why is it 65 not usuall 60 cards?

@masloman I am trying to get it down to 60 but I can't figure out what to take out.

I'd take out all your counterspells and move them to your sideboard. I'd like to try and remake your deck if you'd like me to, trying to utilize Niv-Mizzet a bit more than he is right now. Do you want me to?

@Hexaflexagon it seems like a good deck, but using NIV as the main card is going be slow. You need to have something that adds mana Sarkhan, Fireblood or Runaway Steam-Kin.

Good point. Maybe try taking out Ionize for one of the ramp cards you suggested? I personally suggest Sarkhan, Fireblood as he can give you cards as well as creating mana and he is the most consistent.

Sift would be a good audition as well
