Hexaflexagon Deckling

Hi! I'm Hexaflexagon. I'm 11, and I've been playing Magic on and off for about 5 years or so, and right now, I'm on a streak of on. Probably forever. I'm and emotionally sensitive person, but I never take offence about any suggestions, and I will always take any suggestions into consideration. If there is a non-Vintage, non-Legacy deck you would like me to check out, then please message me and I'll take a look at it. Here's a little bit about myself:

Favourite Guild: Selesnya

Favourite Shard: Bant

Favourite 'Walker: Nissa

Favourite Cards:

Vampire Nighthawk

Baneslayer 1.0

Baneslayer 2.0

Pillory of the Sleepless

Current Deck I'm working on:

Green + White = Lifelink and Angels

Modern* Hexaflexagon

If you see me post something on a EDH decklist, you don't have to take it seriously as I don't play the format as the price barrier is quite prohibitive.

Make a new guildleader card, guild champion card, or a new guildhall card for one of the Guilds.

Oh, and one more point:

No. 6. It gives us a set a year which is plane neutral, meaning that we can have cards, artwork, and lore from any plane from any time. Not like sets like Rivals of Ixalan, Dominaria, etc where cards must come from the plane on which the set is based (with some few exceptions, such as taplands getting reprinted to stay in Standard).

I mean, I hate Seal Away. It's so narrow. I'm not surprised that no one is running it. I'd much rather Cast Out, as for more, you can target any non land permanent (instead of a creature), it doesn't have to be tapped (if it is a creature) and you can Cycle it if you don't need it.

Honestly, I think Core Set 2019 is great. Why?

  1. Well, as many people have pointed out, it gives us some high-value reprints so the non-top 10% can use them.

  2. Also, it provides a starting place to new players who otherwise wouldn't play. It gives short descriptions of abilities on the card, to make it easier for said new player to grasp what this game really is about.

  3. This particular set gives us at least some insight at what our next Ravnica Set's Elves will look like and what they will be doing (killing with poison and snakes, riding on drakes/flying stingrays, etc).

  4. The Elder Dragons. Come on, who doesn't like some more 3 color commanders?

  5. It finally gives us something against Mono-Black Control/Shade.

My relatively short rant is over.

TLDR: Long Live The Core Sets!!!

Apart from Standard and a little EDH, I think Resplendent Angel will see no play whatsoever in competitive. However, like what Lyra Dawnbringer is after the Pro Tour and Chainwhirler, I think it'll stay around $15-$20 as it is a very good card for casual players.

Which is good for me, as I can buy it.

Have you tried Boros Recruit? It's a pretty good one-drop, has First Strike, is a Goblin, and isn't a big enough target for your opponent to try and remove him.

Looks at title Oh, it will be just another one of those decks. Again

Have you tried Tamiyo, the Moon Sage? She is good for a lot of things, particularly card draw and recursion of spells (which I think is good in EDH).

This has reached #5!!! Congrats! +1.

Love the decklist, I wouldn't change much. But, have you considered Woodland Cemetery instead of Blooming Marsh as it coming into play untapped is a slightly bigger chance than Marsh.

Have you thought about Skullclamp and Ashnod's Altar? Also, for my combo posted below, you'll need a lot of things that gives you no maximum hand size.

Infinite Combo until you want to stop

Step 1: You have cast the locust god, and you have Skullclamp and Ashnod's Altar and two Locust Tokens. You are tapped out and have played your land this turn.

Step 2: You sac one Locust to the Altar, using one of that mana to equip the Skullclamp onto the second Locust, which dies immediately, giving you two cards and two Locusts, with one in your pool.

Step 3: You use that in your mana pool to eqiup Skullclamp to a Locust token, which dies and gives you two cards and two more tokens.

Step 4: Repeat Steps 2 and 3 until satisfied with the result.

Step 5: Attack and win the game with a literal Locust Swarm.

Also, Enter the Infinite.

Sorry, like my Angel's Call card.

Damn. Ninja'ed.

Andromeda, Valkyrie of Light

Legendary Creature - Valkyrie

Flying, Lifelink, Vigilance

Creatures you control get +1/+1 and gain Vigilance

Whenever you gain life, put a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control

Yay! More lifelink stuff!!!

I thought Eladamri's Call was Modern legal. It wasn't. So I designed this card as I have never played TF2 before.

Create a non-creature (because we have already got that) tribal Tutor like this.

July 14, 2018 7:32 p.m.

That's op because of Deathtouch. It will kill the creature on entry, letting you draw a card.

Angel's Call

Search your library for an Angel card, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then shuffle your library.

You might want 3x Gaea's Cradle as it is a Legendary Land and you can't have 2 out at the same time.

What is the cost for commissioning an alter? I have the cards already and would post them to you.

Said on RB Destroyer...

You might want some more Rigging Runners as it is a very good card even without the raid counter. You also might want to consider 4 x Dragonskull Summit for a better mana base.

I must agree with multimedia here. Goblin Chainwhirler will win against your deck, 10/10 times. I'm not a big fan of Benalish Marshal in the deck, as you have a lot of mana that produces not . Anyway, I'd much rather +1/+1 and vigilance(when ascended) for tribal decks like this. Because of your Warleader, you'll probably get ascend pretty quickly as the tokens stay on the battlefield if Destiny is out.

Great deck! +1!

What is your main use for Ajani, Adversary of Tyrants? I am making a more lifelink version of your deck and I want to know what you use him for. Right now, I think I'm going to use him for his first and third abilities, as I dont have many creatures with cmc 2 or less.

(PS I haven't posted the deck on TO yet)
