Final Decklist Used in a 3 round Standard-format Pauper tournament.
Tournament Matchup:
1st Round: 2-0 against Green-Red Aggro... Red burn spells with mana dorks to rush out big Green beasts.
Focused my heroic on the flyers to go over their beasties. 2nd round sideboarded in Pacifism and strolled to an easy win.
2nd Round: 2-0 against Mono white lifegain Heroic. Not much showing on their side... they focused too heavily on life gain and not enough on aggression... whole game was spent burning down while they focused on gaining it back... easy round.
Final Round: 2-0 against fast aggro RDW. As I assumed RDW would be there, and this deck was built to kill it... my assumption proved accurate, and they were the only other undefeated deck.
Round 1 went slow... lot of burn spells on my creatures. Outlasted until turn 5-6 where they were spent and I could swing unblocked. Round 2 sideboarded in both oppressive rays and pacifism... round went nice and easy.
Final throughts....
Akroan Crusader
was run main board specifically to make tokens as blocking fodder, which pacifism/rays took care of. If I ran the deck again, I'd swap out
Akroan Crusader
for
Wingsteed Rider
as I saw no other fliers, and would have allowed to me to swing unblocked much more frequently.
