Thanks man! Any suggestions for me? I've never played this type of deck before. I just put this decklist together based off me knowing magic.

are you actually making this deck first of all

April 25, 2014 7:34 p.m.

After much playtesting, planning, and perfecting, yes. I am actually making this deck. I'm thinking Gravecrawler might serve me well as I am actually casting him. It will help a lot with Vengevine I think.

Also maybe a sac outlet?

bloodgast in my opinion doesn't do enough late game and you don't have much to do with Vengevine maybe you need some win con or something, and you need more to do with Bridge from Below it works in the exact opposite deck, i would run maybe 2 Sheoldred, Whispering One s and 2 Avatar of Woe s and maybe 2 Champion of Stray Souls and 2 Liliana Vess s

you don't need a sac outlet or Gravecrawler

Liliana Vess maybe. All the other one's seem too high cost, and I can't cheat them into play anyhow. I do think Gravecrawler would work here. If they go into the graveyard I can cast it, which allows me to return Vengevine . Otherwise I just wait to stock up on creatures and mana in order to return Vengevine . I'll try playtesting with the Gravecrawler and the stuff you suggested. Liliana of the Veil might serve some good with the discard. Help me, hurt them. Also I think Sheoldred kind of goes against Bridge from Below . Because when they sac a creature I lose it.

see you have nothing to win, you need a win condition, you have no game winners, like sheoldred and avatar of woe

I've looked into the modern archtype Dredgevine and from what it seems like beating face with the Bloodghast , zombies created from Bridge from Below and Zombie Infestation , Vengevine (and now Gravecrawler for playtesting) are enough of a win condition. A win con doesn't necessarily have to be a big guy. Like I said though, I'm going to be doing a lot of playing around with this. I'll try everything out.

but your opponent can black your little 2/1

April 25, 2014 8:28 p.m.

Yugornot says... #12

I'll have quite a few creatures. Have you playtested it at all? You get out quite a few 2/1's. As well as 2/2's. And the Vengevines. As well as a Lotleth troll that can grow largish. Ask anyone who's ever played against or with a BW Token deck, you don't need to be big to win. Maybe a Tombstalker could serve me well. Maybe.

chocolate101 says... #13

i am sorry but you can't win, your opponent always will beet you too quickly, i would runavatar just because it destroys creatures, or swings for 6 and sheoldred is so helpful

April 25, 2014 8:47 p.m.

chocolate101 says... #14

avatar is a better version of that and i playtested twice against blue moon and lost twice

April 25, 2014 8:49 p.m.

chocolate101 says... #15

you could also run 4 Demigod of Revenge s

April 25, 2014 8:57 p.m.

Yugornot says... #16

I completely redid the deck. Made it faster aggro and added red. I think the mana base might could use some work.

April 27, 2014 8:40 p.m.

chocolate101 says... #17

you should run Scavenging Ooze it uses your graveyard that you don't need

April 28, 2014 3:42 p.m.

Yugornot says... #18

Ooh, that's good. I'll try it out. I'd want three of him though. What should I drop? I'm thinking my two Nether Shadow and one of something else.

April 28, 2014 5:58 p.m.

kg77wiseguy says... #19

Scavenging Ooze and Deathrite Shaman both use your graveyard. The shaman uses more of it, but the ooze can get pretty big.

April 29, 2014 8:46 p.m.

Yugornot says... #20

Deathrite Shaman is banned in modern. And I tried out Scavenging Ooze . It just didn't work for me. I want to be done t turn four. Turn five latest. The 3 Grisly Salvage does more for me.

April 29, 2014 9:02 p.m.

kg77wiseguy says... #21

Oh, I didn't know they banned the Shaman! I feel silly. o.O

April 30, 2014 9:24 a.m.

Yugornot says... #22

Haha, it's alright man. The Shaman would be pretty sick in this deck. Though if he were in it I'd have gone a slower, more control, version of it with Delirium Skeins

May 5, 2014 8:32 p.m.

chocolate101 says... #23

i don't know how this deck wins so early i just think that this deck is becoming plain aggro, which is still good, but you could still use the ooze just in case, it is a fantastic cards, but the cards you run are so fast, you don't get to use the deck to its full potential.
I think that this deck might be more helpful, it is also about your graveyard, but i would say it is a lot better here is the url for the star city games version f he deck, there are other variations though http://www.starcitygames.com/magic/modern/24513-Living-End-In-Modern.html

May 5, 2014 11:22 p.m.

Yugornot says... #24

That is living end. It's a totally different archetype. It works totally differently. And this deck wins so early by a turn one Faithless Looting discarding Vengevine or Bloodghast . Ideally it'd be two Vengevines that I'm discarding but that doesn't happen often. If you miss a turn one Looting you can still pull a turn two Lotleth Troll or Grisly Salvage . Then you play two one-cost creatures to bring back the vines and smash face with your small creatures and the returned vines and Bloodghasts. Yes, this is pretty much an entirely aggro deck. That's what it is.

chocolate101 says... #25

ok living end is also graveyard oriented which is why i brought it up
