I know I haven’t posted in a long, LONG time, but maybe I can explain why I chose certain cards and what changes I’ve made

Metropolis39 - I appreciate you diligently working with me to help the deck grow and adapt. March of Reckless Joy was a consensus of other Mardu Pyro players and myself discussing draw potential. Since the deck was leaning more and more {R}, it made sense to lean on it as a good card filter/threat finder. But, it definitely came at a cost of being particularly devastating if countered. Hopefully there comes along some decent card draw like we once enjoyed with Faithless Looting. So, yeah, March was a feeble attempt to fill the void left by Looting.

YamishiTheWickedOne - also, thanks for your enthusiasm as well as I’ve been working on the deck. Even if the techs are suboptimal by meta standards, I appreciate you trying to see from my POV. For win-cons, the deck has always tried to 1) grind through and dismantle opponents’ game plan, 2) go wide with tokens, and 3) swing with creatures and burn spells. So, the deck doesn’t really rely on one specific threat sticking (like Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger. That being said, I was wrong about excluding (at least 1) Kroxa. The utility it provides the deck, from discard, to burn, to clock, to giant-ass beat-stick is really what this deck needs.

I’ve been experimenting with returning to the roots of Young Pyromancer and Manamorphose, and I’ve been testing out Monastery Mentor-based builds. It definitely feels more glass cannon with Mentor, but when it pops off, it’s insane!

Hello.
You are running a lot of cards that make you draw and discard cards. I think that Squee, Goblin Nabob would fit in this deck well. You can discard him and get him back in your upkeep and you can do it over and over again.
In the recent sets WoTC printed a couple of really good impulse draw cards in red like March of Reckless Joy, Reckless Impulse, Light Up the Stage or Rob the Archives. If you have no way to use cards in your graveyard then these 4 are in my opinion better than all versions of Thrill of Possibility you play. If you want to keep playing all versions of Thrill of Possibility then I'd consider adding some cards that you can cast from your graveyard like for example Mishra's Research Desk. Endless Atlas could draw you lots of cards.
You're running 32 creatures so Hazoret's Monument will save you more mana than any mana rock and will also let you filter your hand like crazy. Lastly, Skullclamp, Idol of Oblivion and Terrain Generator seem to have good synergies with all the mountains you have and all the 1/1 tokens this deck can produce. Heraldic Banner - for just 1 more mana you get a mana rock and an anthem for your go wide strategy.

Cast Creative Technique for the first time last night. It practically won me the game all by itself. Definitely got lucky but it was pretty impressive, imo.

I untapped with Rionya and 9 mana available. Decided to try the Technique and see what it would get me before deciding on anything else. First copy flipped into Wildfire Devils and I randomly chose myself and recast Thrill of Possibility from my graveyard. Second copy flipped into Volcanic Torrent which in turn cascaded into March of Reckless Joy. March did nothing but I had 4 Instants/Sorceries cast for the turn to make 5 copies of something off the Rionya trigger. I also happened to draw Fanatic of Mogis off the Thrill of Possibilty and I had 4 devotion already on the field (Rionya, Devils, and one other creature with one pip).
Cast and copied Fanatic and domed each opponent for 55 total damage!

Hey, I have been trying this card (Dragon's Rage Channeler) in burn, and it occurred to me that maybe it can help you activate Pyromancer Ascension... And it also reminded me of Magmatic Channeler.

Idk, it felt that maybe they can help you feed the graveyard and give you extra gas. Also take a look at March of Reckless Joy, Valakut Awakening  ^Flip and Reckless Impulse :)
