Extremely inexpensive 60 card casual deck. Builds off of First-Strike+Deathtouch mechanics

• Bulk of creatures are 1-3 drop green deathtouch creatures, they're given first strike via Archetype of Courage, or by having Valor in your graveyard.

• Since Deathtouch carries over in first strike, a 1/1 green deathtouch snake creature with first strike can block another creature much larger than it without dying.

• So having a Archetype of Courage + Sedge Scorpion on the field would allow one to block a 10/10 for example (this First Strike + Deathtouch protects against Trample as well)

• Turntimber Basilisk work aggressively with first strike and landfall; you can force an opponent to block with any of their creatures of your choosing.

• Oblivion Ring and Statis Snare are to eliminate big threats as typical white exile

• Spidersilk Armor helps to as a complete field cover for protection against flight

• Palace Guard + Spirit Mantle allows you to block any attacks with solid protection

• Wild Pair; extremely important since this deck has duplicates of each creature, Wild Pair acts as a good mid-game card to bolster your field. You play one creature, you can search your deck for another copy of it.

PITFALLS:

• Vulnerable to Double Blocking

• Double Strike eats through your defenses

• No active protection from spells/enchantments (Destroy target creature, etc)

• Global field damage effects (All creatures get -1/-1 or -1/-2, etc) can decimate your entire board

SIDEBOARD:

• These cards add to the cost of the deck, but can add a decent additional degree of lethality

• Hydra Omnivore + Spirit Mantle can let you do nasty amount damage in a multiplayer setting, Hydra Omnivore in of itself allows for you to have a normal heavy hitter

• Quietus Spike when attached to a Deathtouch creature can be brutal via either forcing the opponent to block and lose their blocking creature, or take the hit and forfeit half their life.
