Is Vengevine still viable?

Well, the question is pretty clear, is he viable? or is the new titan loaded meta too much for him too handle? It took me forever to get all 4 of mine and I want to play him in a deck I just don't know if he can stand up. I've been having trouble with titan decks.

Vengevine still appears in plenty of decks right now. Elves love him, as do Memnite , Ornithopter , and Glint Hawk . He's also best buddies with Fauna Shaman , who can throw him to the graveyard and then tutor for a cheap creature that goes towards his reanimation clause.

Vengevine aggro is still very much alive. He's still under 50% vs. U/W Control and its ilk, but does well against many other archetypes.

gather these cards together: 4x Vengevine 4x Memnite 4x Glint Hawk 4x Fauna Shaman 2x Ornithopter 4x Squadron Hawk

and throw in a little Molten-Tail Masticore for extra win. now splash around in different colors and see what you like. I enjoy me some blue splash for the obvious countermagic, and to help vengie out put in Trinket Mage and AEther Adept , with trinket mage you could even add in some Basilisk Collar as a fetch alternative to the memnites, and if you are putting equipment in why not throw in 2-3 Quest for the Holy Relic and an Argentum Armor , that should seal it. Or maybe you feel like black for the evil removal available like Consuming Vapors and Flesh Allergy , and everybody loves Bloodghast , vengie's lil black cousin. Well, with black you could put in Gravedigger to get multi creature drops, and why not add Necrotic Ooze and Gigantomancer to the mix, it's always nice to Fauna Shaman tutor up the 'mancer, then drop it in the grave to tutor up the ooze, then play the ooze and use the gigantomantic ability all over your hawks and vengies.

In short, yes, vengie is alive and thriving. Just get creative and figure out how to drop multiple critters per turn, then figure out what other cards have graveyard synergy and pick your favorites. Just don't get stuck in the Bojuka Bog on your way to your local FNM!
