This card seems like something magic would have a lot of! So I hope there's something not 150-200 dollars!

Nope. Believe it or not, that card is broken as all hell.

Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx does something similar. Serra's Sanctum is cool if you want to play Leylines.

Just to add more (just realized how much this post lacked) this is for a green mostly deck, but it is hydra so devotion won't well.

The only lands that do something similar are the three mentioned and Tolarian Academy from my knowledge. Cabal Coffers I guess..

There are some elves that have "add for the amount of elves you control" or something similar. I can't recall specific card names, I apologize.

Welcome to Legacy, where the cards are just as broken as they are expensive!

There was a cycle of three lands in the Urza block. Gaea's Cradle, Tolarian Academy, Serra's Sanctum.

Citanul Hierophants and Earthcraft are what you're looking for.

There was a cycle of five legendary lands, except the red and black ones had a different effect. The cycle is; Serra's Sanctum, Tolarian Academy, Phyrexian Tower, Shivan Gorge and Gaea's Cradle.

Unfortunately, there aren't too many cards which have a similar effect, but the ones that do are either bad, or broken. Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary is probably the closest you will get to Gaea's Cradle without spending $150, but he's banned in EDH.

For cards like Gaea's Cradle in the other two colours, I assume they would have gone for something like "creatures in your graveyard" for black, or possibly just straight up "Swamps you control" without Cabal Coffers' activation cost, and for red they could maybe have done "instants and sorceries in your graveyard" or "number of creatures you attacked with this turn"

That they never made a TRUE 5-colour cycle of those lands is one of the things about Magic's design history that has always bugged me.

Cabal Coffers? Crypt of Agadeem? Those are the closest that I can think of. For red...um...Braid of Fire?

Gaea's Cradle was too broken so wizards never made the same mistake again - unfortunately...

Braid of Fire, that's... questionable? Was it designed pre- or post- manaburn?

What does it mean when a card is broken?

December 13, 2014 2:07 p.m.

It is much more powerful than anything else, and can be easily abused to do things that people shouldn't be able to do.

For example, Black Lotus is broken. Stoneforge Mystic is broken. Jace, the Mind Sculptor is broken.

During the manaburn era. Nowadays, it's a great card for instant burn decks. Ish.
