List your top 5 cards that are too strong to play with casuals but too weak to make a splash at a cedh table.

1) Expropriate

2) Kaalia of the Vast

3) Arcum Dagsson - post paradox engine banning and urza

4) Krenko, Mob Boss

5) Seton, Krosan Protector

Not cards per se, but literally every deck I've made (recently) is like that. It angers both me and others!

Sometimes I'll just play my pauper Tatyova deck with casuals because anything above that seems like overkill but even that deck has an absurd win rate.

Expropriate? I love taking 8 extra turns. Then again, it's in a God-Eternal Kefnet deck with Swarm Intelligence and Primal Amulet  Flip and it is so easy to get two or three casts off it that it is a straight 'I win' spell.

I love the spell Murder. Dominates most of my friends, but it actually sucks.

Helm of the Host can make some huge plays, but realistically costs far too much mana. Kaalia of the Vast is the easiestway to turn EDH into archenemy, but is too flimsy for cEDH. Sheoldred, Whispering One is one of my personal favorite cards. She wins the game for me regularly, but between the mana cost and the fact that she is a creature, I don't see her in competitive at all.
