any sort of cost-down spell is value.

big score and stuff seems not as good as desperate ravings. need early fixing, grave, and flashback. recoup and past in flames prove to be good.

X-spells: No Transcendent Message.
Because it just draws, and that's useless. We need it to be removal (and not just 1 permanent, that's too weak... itneeds to be a heavy hitting spell, every time zaffai casts. The rest of her casts are just doubling effects. People will remember her as "That deck that casts spells and always resolves them... but doesn't wipe the board, rather, wins through insurrection and elementals and direct burn."
enter Electrodominance, molten disaster, etc

Echo storm gets you mana, usually, though we might not even run twinning staff. With insurrection and graveyard recursion, we have enough gas with just the spells in the deck.

design principles

make choices seldom. ie, remove temporal fissure. choosing the perms is too time consuming. chaos warp, wild magic, etc, are good enuff. Also, as sad as it is, cards like chaotic transformation and collosion of realms are simply too annoying to resolve, in the same way that warp world was trash every time...
