This deck began life as a mixed Gargoyle/Imp theme deck, something I've wanted to put together since I started playing during Kamigawa, but never got around to.

I was quite attached to the idea of Gargoyle/Imp, but Gargoyle tribal is actually working quite nicely. And with the imps has gone much of the black, to be replaced with blue, resulting in a very different colour-combo than I started with, but not one I'm unhappy with.

My gargoyles, namely Tower Gargoyle , are my heavy hitters once Favorable Winds, Tempered Steel , and some Adaptive Automatons get on the board.

Graven Dominator is meant to work with Zealous Persecution to remove enemy creatures. I was considering a similar combo with Soul Sculptor and Essence Scatter to deal with big creatures, but I'm not sure if that's a waste of cards or not, so they're in the maybe board for now.
