The poem is me roleplaying as Noyan Dar. I am describing what it would be like to battle for the plane of Zendikar. All the hardships, and losses the Allies must take while fighting back the Eldrazi was enough inspiration. Bant is a shard about the protection of the plane. I for one don't want those FILTHY monsters taking over our world. Will you join the Allies of Zendikar to take back their land? Or will you cower beneath the monstrosities that are the Eldrazi Spawn...

Skyrider Elf & Woodland Wanderer are my Converge threats to utilize my Bant powers! Converge getting the Elf & Elemental to 5/5 & 6/6 respectfully. Wanderer eats Siege Rhino all day!

With Ally Encampment s & Beastcaller Savant s I can use Converge to its full potential. Sacrifice the encampments to bounce back any Ally to save it, or to reapply Lifelink to any new Awakened lands.

Since Awaken is a big theme in the deck Sylvan Advocate is a great secondary Lord to buff my Manlands and Awakened lands. Having Vigilance as well is amazing come late-game! A 2/3 body turn 2 is fantastic, and then later on buffing into a 4/5 is straight value. Then on top of that an Awakened & activated Lumbering Falls becomes an 8/8...DAMN!!!

Noyan Dar, Roil Shaper fuels the deck's engine by utilizing every resource available to you. The ability to give ANY land Haste, and turn it into a 3/3 body means value from every spell. The end-game madness that this Merman can bring is staggering. An army of lands just staring back at you. Wave after wave of elemental creatures either in the air or at your face!
Paired with Halimar Tidecaller s to get back all spent Awaken spells. She really gives value to using bounces early. Then giving all land creatures evasion...YES PLEASE, and she's an Ally!?

Lantern Scout is my main Lord to Rally trigger off all my Allies. Creatures under your control gain Lifelink. So even my Awakened lands become a serious issue for you after I've Rallied the team. She's not the strongest Ally Lord, but gaining up to 10+ life per Rally swing stacks up quickly!
