Markov Zombie Crawler(Dark Ascenion)

Modern

Yumility

Yeah, yeah, Jar of Eyeballs is worthless, we get it. Now that that's out of the way lemme get to the idea of the deck.

Through the use of cheap zombies such as Gravecaller you gain a nifty sacrifice engine for Unruly Mob with Disciple of Griselbrand. Ghoulcaller's Chant brings back two of your zombies to your hand early game and helps keep your field full of little guys to make your Unruly's worth something. Endless Ranks of the Dead further facilitates this late in the game.

Due to all the creatures dying, you actually have a use for your Jar of Eyeballs . Having multiple Jars out allows you to build counters much higher on each of them and use them as must as a renewable tutor, also taking care of ordering. Because late game, for 3 mana, you can basically get whatever card you want, there are a few 1 or 2 ofs in the deck that will see use situationally.

Shimmering Grotto allows you to fix your mana early in the game and late in the game allows you to cast off color spells. Memory's Journey gives you a way to pull spells other than creatures out of your graveyard(with the intention of a Jar bringing it back out and possibly shaping your deck to draw the next one). Paraselene while detrimental with Endless Ranks of the Dead is a solution to curse based decks, which I see as a potential deck in the upcoming days. Ancient Grudge being an answer to any number of threatening artifacts. Executioner's Hood is there for a Mob to gain a little bit of evasion.

The other part of the deck is that due to Disciple of Griselbrands sac mechanic being lifegain, there will be a substantial reason to keep with the life gain theme. Unbreathing Horde was chosen as not only due to it's shear inability to be killed in combat, but due to the ease of gaining life through the disciple. Vault of the Archangel is an invaluable tool, giving your weenies perfect blocking ability and some life gain. Finally Chalice of Life   should be easy enough to turn into Chalice of Death   with all this life gaining going around. Chalice of Death   kills.

Finally, we have our plainswalker Sorin, Lord of Innistrad. Again, only a one of. You typically want him when your board is full of protectors, so he'll be easily pulled at that point due to the Jars being in full swing. If he somehow ends up in the gy, you still have Memory's Journey -> Jar of Eyeballs to get him back. He's the perfect choice for this deck. His +1 makes 1/1 lifelink tokens(which we can sac and use the life gain), his emblem empowers all our weenies(and gives us more life due to Vault of the Archangel), and his ultimate steals creatures and planeswalkers for us. What's not to love.

The deck, is a really fun idea and I hope it's fun to play as it was to think up. I love sacrifice mechanics and honestly think this one might hold up. I have yet to think of a sideboard for the deck, so suggestions there might be nice. Anywho, thank ya'll and see you soon.
