Rings + Basalt Monolith is one thing... Voltaic + Metalworker/Myr Welder (exiling something which taps for at least 3), is something else. While they generally come down later, as creatures Sanctum of Ugin and Eye of Ugin are able to search them out. Eye can then go on to grab Spawnsire for the Grand Finale. Rings of Brighthearth fully earns its place now being able to double the search from Eye and (once it's released and I can add it in) the new Inventors' Fair, which it also has searchable synergy with.

Given increased mana availability, Kozilek #2 comes in from the Sideboard to give us more things to spend mana on, or as possible Counter defense before going on to bigger plays. Thought-Knot takes his place outside, allowing a once over of what the opponent might have on hand to stop us after we lay down close to 20 Annihilator.
